He revealed that Russian warships had sailed along the Italian coast and reached Ancona. Dragone explained that on July 22, Russian ships closed the entry-exit route from the Adriatic Sea and prevented the American aircraft carrier from moving, as a result of which tensions between NATO and Russian forces in the area are expected to increase, reports MMC.
When Russian ships entered the Adriatic Sea, the Italians mobilized warships to escort the Russian ships.
