Sportske novosti reports on a group of sixteen fans of the Croatian football team of the “Mi Hrvati” association, whose members arrived in Qatar from Osjek, Zagreb and Germany. They impressed with their performance, namely they dressed in traditional local clothes (kandura), which they also equipped with their unmistakable dice.

“Someone from the group came up with this idea and we went,” one of the fans told Sportske and explained that this is not their first fashion experiment, even four years ago in Russia they adapted the local traditional clothes into fan gear.

The exuberant fans, with whom almost everyone wanted to take photos in Doha today, of course emphasized that they expect their footballers to be in the final this year as well, but first they have to get through the group stage. For the Croatians, the championship begins on Wednesday, November 23, when they face Morocco.

The Moroccan fans told their Croatian colleagues that they expected a 2-0 victory in the first match, the latter agreed with the result, but reversed it. “It will be 2-0, yes, but for us,” they replied and then tried to teach them some Croatian fan songs.
