“Oh dear God!” Horrifying and stunning footage of an avalanche moments before it engulfs the cameraman (VIDEO)

Harry Shimmin, who was trekking in the Kyrgyz mountains with a group of compatriots, recorded a video of an avalanche breaking out of the mountain and descending at high speed towards him and his colleagues.

Shimmin walked away from the mackerel to take some photos when he heard the ice crack behind him. Since there was a corner next to him where he could seek shelter, he did not try to run away, but pointed the camera towards the avalanche.

At the last moment, when the avalanche was very close, it retreated – the video shows how the snow is already reaching it. The group was further away, so they were safe from the avalanche. When Shimmin realized that he was covered with only a thin layer of snow, he was “ecstatic”.
