Finnish Prime Minister at a rock festival: “The coolest head of government in Europe”

The Prime Minister of Finland came to the rock festival in a leather jacket, shorts and boots.

Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin used the past weekend to visit the Ruisrock festival, one of the most important music events in Finland. This festival, which has been held on the island of Ruissalo near the city of Turku since 1970, is the oldest rock festival in Finland and the second oldest in Europe.

“The beginning of vacation,” Sanna Marin wrote next to a photo with her husband Markus Räikönen“we’re going to Turku on Ruisrock.”

The organizers of the festival boasted about the fact that the Prime Minister of Finland visited them on their official Instagram profile, where they published a photo of the 36-year-old prime minister, dressed perfectly for the event – in a leather jacket, denim shorts and boots.

“Legend,” comments lined the photo, someone called her “the coolest head of government,” and many commented that they could not imagine the prime minister in their country doing such a job.

“Otherwise, I don’t agree with her on politics,” added one Instagram user, “but it’s great that we have a prime minister who knows how to enjoy herself.”
