The details of Friday’s tragic accident on the Croatian peninsula of Pelješac, in which a 27-year-old Indian citizen died, are known. The man parked the car at the Prapratno ferry port and forgot to apply the handbrake. The vehicle then suddenly slid into the sea, and the Indian died on the spot.
The accident happened on Friday around 3 pm in the Prapretno ferry port on the Croatian peninsula of Pelješac. A 27-year-old citizen of India parked a vehicle with Zagreb license plates in the local parking lot, forgetting to apply the handbrake.
Accident on Pelješac: a 27-year-old man crashed his car into the sea and died
The vehicle slid into the sea from a height of about 4 meters, turned onto its roof and sank. The policemen who arrived at the scene of the accident tried to help the man. One of them jumped into the sea and dived to the vehicle. He pulled the driver ashore while another officer began CPR. Despite the efforts of the police, the Indian man died.
