On Tuesday, the Ukrainian government presented security guarantees and conditions, the fulfillment of which, according to its assessment, is absolutely necessary for the post-war security of the country. The plan includes equipment and training that Ukraine’s military needs from allies for future defense, as well as a request for full NATO membership.
The plan was presented in Kyiv by the head of the Ukrainian president’s office Andrij Jermak and former Secretary General of NATO Anders Fogh Rasmussen. The plan proposes that several European countries, as well as the United States, Canada, Australia and Turkey, provide security to Ukraine, as well as that the latter continue to seek to join NATO.
