Two people died in a traffic accident on the Gorenje highway, the highway was closed for several hours

As announced by the PU Kranj, two people died in a private vehicle that overturned.

Two vehicles were involved in the traffic accident around 2 a.m., one was on the way to Ljubljana, the other to Karavanke. The vehicles did not collide. The driver, who was driving with a passenger in the car in the direction of Ljubljana, collided violently with the fence that separates the directional carriages on the Kranj East – Brnik highway section, the vehicle overturned from there, and from it onto the opposite carriageway (the highway in the direction of Karavanka ) fallen passenger. A female driver who was driving correctly in the direction of Karavanki collided with it, the PU Kranj announced.

Circumstances indicate that the deceased passenger was not wearing a seat belt. Both participants from the first vehicle, citizens of Serbia, died at the scene of the accident.
