A Netflix feature will be filmed in Piran.
Between September 19 and October 4, Piran will become the location for the filming of a full-length action film, in which a top film crew will participate – according to Primorske novici, it should be the Netflix film Our Man from Jersey, in which they also appear JK Simmons, Halle Berry, Mark Wahlberg, Jackie Earle Haley, Jessica De Gouw and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.
Because of the project, the roads of the squares and streets will be completely closed from time to time, but only with 15-minute closures. The scenes were supposed to be filmed on Prešeren embankment, Ulica svobode, Trubarjeva ulica, Tartinije trg, Pristaniška ulica, Bolniška ulica, Trg 1. Maja with Gregorčičeva, Verdijeva, Trubarjeva and Kosovelova ulica, Vidalijeva ulica with Obzidna ulica (Porta Dolfin), Trg Bratstva with Tomšičeva and Župančičeva streets (Porta Marciana), Cankarjev embankment, Kidričev embankment and Dantejeva street.
During filming, you can also expect a changed parking regime in Fornače – if the parking lot is occupied, you can park in the parking garage for the same price. There will be no recording on Saturdays and Sundays.
According to Primorske novic, the team, which will number 1,200 people, is expected to sleep in the best hotels in Portorož.
