The Međimurje Police Department announced that the criminal investigation against a 24-year-old girl who committed the crime of attempted murder at the expense of her 30-year-old extramarital partner has been completed.
On Friday around 1 a.m. in the family house in the town of Parago, there was an argument and a fight between them. The 30-year-old then hit the 24-year-old on the head with his hands, and she took a knife and stabbed him several times.
She was ordered into pretrial detention
Both the young man and the girl were under the influence of alcohol. The 30-year-old was transported to UKC Čakovec, where severe physical injuries were found, he is in mortal danger and he was detained for further treatment.
They filed a criminal complaint against the girl for the crime of murder with the competent state prosecutor’s office and handed her over to the custody supervisor of the Međimurje Police Administration. Yesterday in the morning, at the suggestion of the competent state attorney, the 24-year-old suspect was brought to the District Court in Varaždin. After the hearing, the investigating judge ordered her to be detained for up to one month and she was handed over to the Varaždin prison.
Another assassination attempt
The officers of the criminal police service completed the criminal investigation against a 58-year-old man suspected of attempted murder, announced the Međimurje police administration.
The completed criminal investigation suspects that the suspect stabbed a 29-year-old man several times in the body with a knife on Saturday around 11 p.m. after a short argument in the family house in Orehovica, Grafa Festetića Street.
The young man was slightly injured
A medical examination at UKC Čakovec showed that a 29-year-old man was slightly injured in the incident and was detained for observation. A criminal complaint was filed against the 58-year-old suspect for the crime of murder to the competent state prosecutor’s office and he was handed over to the custody supervisor of the Međimurje Police Administration, reports index.hr.
