The Sarajevo police arrested two Serbs who were also wanted by Interpol. They rented several apartments at the very top of the luxury complex Sarajevo Tower, and they are said to be hired killers, who are also linked to the notorious leaders of criminal gangs Veljko Belivuk and Darko Šarič, and one of them is said to be involved in the murder of two members of the Montenegrin Škaljarski clans who traveled to Corfu in 2020 with Slovenian documents.

Members of the Sarajevo Canton Police in Bosnia and Herzegovina arrested two Serbian citizens, for whom an Interpol warrant was also issued, and they were discovered by the Security Intelligence Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dnevni Avaz refers to sources close to the police and reports that they have been caught Dušan Jovanović and Darko Dulović. They add that they have rented several apartments on top of a new prestigious residential complex in the very center of the city.

Jovanović is associated with a cruel criminal group under the leadership of Velja Nevolje, whose real name is Velja Nevolje Veljko Belivukas well as with Darko Šarić. The operation against Šarić’s drug cartel under the name Balkan Warrior took place in as many as 15 countries, including Slovenia. According to the estimates of the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Šarić is considered the biggest drug lord in the Balkans and is said to have laundered 4.4 billion euros, which he earned from the sale of cocaine.

Members of his criminal gang are said to be guilty of numerous murders, drug trafficking and a range of other crimes. Among them was the murder of members of a rival drug clan Alan Kožara and Damir Hodžić in Corfu.

Jovanović was supposed to shoot in Corfu

The arresting Jovanović is said to be behind their murder. This is what the witness in the court proceedings against Belivuk and his “butcher” also claimed. Marko Miljkovićwho gave several details from the murder in Corfu during her testimony in March this year.

The two members of the Montenegrin Skaljar clan, who had otherwise avoided the hand of justice for a long time, were murdered in Greece in July 2020, and they also had false documents with them, including Slovenian passports. Alan Kožar traveled as Robert Bitencand Damir Hadžić as Martin Pospišek.

Based on the manner of the murder, the police suspected even then that it was an act of professionals. Therefore, Jovanović should also be among the scorers.

According to Serbian media reports, he also planned to assassinate the chief of the Belgrade police Veselin Milićas revealed by messages on the Sky app used by criminal gangs around the world.

The other person arrested, Darko Dulović, is also an old acquaintance of the police. He was accused of aiding and abetting murder Siniše Milić Bosketa close associate of the former alleged leader of the Zemun clan Luka Bojovićbut the court acquitted him.

As Avaz writes, Jovanović and Dulović were wanted by other countries in addition to Serbia, and they are still investigating what they were doing in Sarajevo and who they were planning to liquidate.
