Czech soccer players Vladimir Coufal, Jakub Brabec and Jan Kuhta will miss Monday’s decisive match of the qualifiers for the 2024 European Championship between the Czech Republic and Moldova.
The reason is a visit to a night club, according to the media in the Czech Republic. The news was also confirmed by the local union, where they cited a violation of internal regulations as the reason and added that the trio had already left the training base.
The Sport.cz portal is very precise about the night trip and the journalists there claim that the trio were guests of a well-known disco in Olomouc, where the match will take place. But apparently the trio was not alone, as the newspaper also shows Tomaš Neumann, a member of the union’s executive board, in the photos.
In Group E, Albania has already won the trip to Germany. The Czech Republic has 12 points, Poland 11 and Moldova 10. Right behind are the Faroe Islands, which have collected three points so far.
