The house in Mengš in which the sisters from the Loyola community lived in the early 1990s, where their then spiritual leader and Jesuit Fr. Marko Rupnik, we are alone today. It is only a matter of time before all traces of the building disappear.

When visiting Mengš, it was possible to make sure that the Loyola community, which lived here between 1987 and 1994, is remembered only by a few, but even then fleetingly.

How well known was the Loyola community to the Sisters of Mercy from St. Katarine in Mengš and the local priest Štefan Babič, who lives in the rectory, from where the abandoned building where the sisters lived decades ago can be seen across the road? What is his opinion on the alleged abuse of nuns?

How did Marina Štremfelj, who heads the Center Aletti Foundation and who, before leaving for Rome, where she went together with Fr. Rupnikom, also lived in the Loyola community? Where is sister Ivanka Hosta, who was most often mentioned in the abuse affair together with Fr. Mark Rupnik and how did the sister of the Loyola community on Apnenik react when we rang the bell at the door of the monastery there?

Which of the high church dignitaries visited the nuns on Apnenik?

Why did they find a new home in the municipality of Šentjernej? Who are the members of the community today and what are their professions?

Who belongs to the circle of priests who are connected with Fr. Mark Rupnik? Jesuit Father Jože Roblek told the Reporter his opinion about Fr. Rupnik, whom they have known since Rupnik’s student years. Where have you met so far and where have you worked together? How do Father Roblek, who knows that the Rupnik case is being investigated further, explain the alleged acts of abuse?
