Football transfer windows, especially winter ones, always provide interesting stories. One of these was provided by the Dutch winger Arnaut Danjuma, who had already agreed on a transfer with Everton, but then changed his mind at the last minute and decided to go to London, where he will sign for Tottenham.

Arnaut Danjuma, who helped the Spanish Premier League side Villarreal reach the semi-finals of the elite Champions League last season, decided to return to the Island after a year and a half of playing in Spain. Before joining the yellow submarine, the 25-year-old winger already played one Premier League season with Bournemouth, with whom he was relegated from the English elite in the 2019/2020 season and played another season in the English second division.

In this way, Danjuma was lured into their ranks by Everton, the English Premier League, who agreed with Villarreal for the loan of the player until the end of the season. The 25-year-old already traveled to Liverpool last weekend, where he already completed medical examinations and media obligations. On Monday, only the official signing of the contract should have followed, which ultimately did not happen.

The 25-year-old reportedly received a call from Tottenham on Monday morning and immediately left for the English capital. He will have to undergo another medical there, and then he will play for Spurs on loan until the end of the season.
