Amazon Prime is a membership to the world’s largest online retailer. This actually provides buyers with a number of exceptional buying opportunities. The latter are associated with big discounts and often free fast shipping of products. In addition, there are also special daily offers. On a daily basis, exclusive offers with exceptional discounts appear in all categories, of course only reserved for Amazon Prime members.
European users are currently somewhat less enthusiastic about Amazon Prime membership. The company Amazon recently announced that it has increased the subscription to the popular Amazon Prime for the first time since 2018. The annual subscription increased to 49.90 euros, or 4.99 euros per month.
- the annual Amazon Prime subscription rose from 36 euros to 49.90 euros
- the monthly subscription of Amazon Prime increased from 3.99 euros to 9.99 euros
- the annual subscription of Amazon Prime for students increased from 18 euros to 24.95 euros
- the monthly subscription of Amazon Prime for students has increased from 1.99 euros to 2.49 euros
The company Amazon justifies the price increase with higher delivery costs, which are mainly the result of higher fuel prices. It is currently difficult to predict how European users will react to the price increase. In all likelihood, many will simply put up with it, as Amazon Prime is one of the best in online shopping.
