The basketball players of Cedevita Olimpija will play the match of the seventh round of the ABA league on Monday at 17:30 when Partizan comes to Stožice. Both teams have five wins and two losses. The people of Ljubljana will be without their first center Karel Matkovićwho has a back problem and didn’t even finish the last EuroCup match when they lost for the seventh time.
“We have to play firmly. We will play without Karel Matković, so we will present ourselves again in a different formation, which will be shorter and less athletic under the basket. We will have to decisively oppose the Euroleague team, which has tall players,” the coach said before the game Simone Pianigiani. Gregor Glaswho played for Partizan for a short time, thinks as follows: “We are aware of the quality of the Partizan team, which will certainly come to Ljubljana extremely motivated, as they suffered a defeat in the last match in the ABA league. We will surely expect some reaction from our rivals to this defeat, but our task is to give our best throughout the game and try to surprise.”

Before the match with Krka, Mega had four wins and three losses, among other things, they defeated Partizan in their stadium. The Krka team had only one win and six losses. “Mega is a young and high-quality team. They play with a lot of energy. They have a lot of selected talents. It is worth highlighting Topić, one of the most prominent players in the league, around whom most of the game revolves. Otherwise, we have to deal with ourselves above all. I hope that the time will come, when we can get out of the black hole,” said the Krka coach before the meeting Gasper Okorn.
But the start was not the best, as they lost the first quarter with 13:21 and went to the main break with ten points behind (42:32 for Mega). Only 19 years old Nikola Topic he was already experienced at eight points Nikola Janković, who also played for Olimpija years ago, at the age of nine. Krkin was the most effective basketball player in the first half Yuri Macura, who scored ten points while shooting 100% and had seven rebounds.
