At midnight, we are expecting a significant drop in fuel prices. 95-octane gasoline will be cheaper by 2.6 cents to 1.508 euros, and diesel by 6.4 cents to 1.544 euros per liter. With a 50-liter fuel tank, this amounts to a 1.3 euro saving on gasoline and a 3.2 euro saving on diesel.
For a liter of unleaded motor gasoline, with the unchanged excise duty, which is currently set at 0.49051 euros per liter, at gas stations outside the highway junction, in the new 14-day period, it will be necessary to pay 1.508 euros per liter (before the change, 1.534 euros per liter), which amounts to 75.4 euros for 50 liters.
A liter of diesel, with the unchanged excise duty at gas stations outside the motorway junction, will amount to 1.544 euros per liter in the new period (before the change 1.608 euros per liter), which amounts to 77.2 euros for 50 liters.
For a liter of heating oil, with the unchanged excise tax, which is currently set at 0.11577 euros per liter, in the new 14-day period it will be necessary to pay 1.132 euros per liter (before the change, 1.195 euros per liter). For an ordered quantity of 1,000 liters of fuel oil, the consumer will thus pay 1,132 euros (without transport).
In accordance with the government regulation on the pricing of petroleum products outside the area of highways and expressways, traders’ margins are limited and can amount to a maximum of 0.0983 euros per liter of diesel fuel and 0.0994 euros per liter of NMB-95, and for heating oil a maximum of 0.08 EUR per liter. The prices of motor fuels at the motorway intersection are set freely, and which roads are motorways and expressways are determined by the Decree on the Categorization of State Roads.
