It was one of those games in which the opponent had the entire first five in high spirits, from which members contributed double-digit points to the success of the team. As already written, the mood was led by the Lithuanian wing center Sabonis, who stopped at 32 points and 13 rebounds, and the excellent game organizer of the guests Fox added 30 points – including six shots from behind the 6.75-meter line.

Sacramento went to the big break with a five-point advantage (65:70), and then we watched the match with the score tied until the middle of the third quarter. That’s when Sabonis and Fox took matters into their own hands and with help Malik Monkwho scored four three-pointers in key moments of the game for his 12 points, gave his team a big enough advantage that the home strategist Jason Kidd decided to pull the Dallas hitting tandem from the game Luka Dončića and Kyrie Irving.
The Slovenian ace was not in such an attacking mood this time, although he was once again the most effective individual of his team. In 32 minutes of play, Dončić scored 25 points, but with a worse shot from the field (7/19, 3/7 for three-pointers), and at the same time contributed 10 rebounds and seven assists.
