Outgoing British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie are ending their honeymoon in Slovenia. The couple stayed in the boutique hotel Vila Planinka in Jezersko, among other things, they visited mountains, lakes and the Postojna Cave, where they also met a human fish. Johnson highly recommends a visit to Slovenia.

The Johnsons arrived in Slovenia on Wednesday, and are returning to London tonight. Before leaving, the British Prime Minister gave a short statement to journalists in front of the hotel in Jezersko, in which he thanked the Slovenian media for respecting their privacy during the trip. At the same time, he also thanked everyone who helped them explore the beauty of the country during their visit to Slovenia.

“I highly recommend a visit to Slovenia,” said Johnson, who was impressed by the Postojna Cave, among other things. “I didn’t know about her, but she’s really worth a look,” he emphasized. In the end, he thanked the whole of Slovenia, as he himself pointed out, “the only country that actually has love in the name of the country”.
