Nadal angered Djokovic’s fans with an unfortunate statement #video

Tennis player Novak Djokovic recently won his 24th Grand Slam title at the US Open. Rafael Nadal has not yet publicly congratulated him, at least, but the Spaniard made a statement that confused many Serbian fans.

Novak Djokovic, currently ranked No. 1 in the world, is currently enjoying his time in his hometown of Belgrade after recently winning the US Open for his 24th Big Four title. With this, he distanced himself even more from Rafael Nadalwho has 22 victories at the biggest tournaments in his showcase, while the retired Roger Federer has 20.

The Majorcan was a guest on the Movistar+ show, where he angered Serbian or Novak Đoković fans with his statement. “I think that Novak Djokovic lives this Grand Slam story in a slightly more intense way than me and the other players. It would be a big frustration for him if he didn’t achieve this record,” said the 37-year-old Spaniard in the mentioned show.

Nadal last played in January

Some of Djokovic’s fans are convinced that it is Nadal’s jealousy and that it would be better if he congratulated him. Nadal, who recently became a father for the first time, has not been seen on the court for quite some time. He played his last match at the Australian Open in January, and next season will likely be the last of his career. He will probably prepare for the French Open and the Olympic Games in Paris, where he has a great chance of success.

On the other hand, Nole is not even thinking about retirement yet and is still fighting very well against much younger rivals. Even he himself does not know how much longer he will persist.
