The police in Bosnia and Herzegovina were looking for a man who killed at least three people and injured several others in Gradačac in the northeast of the country. Bodybuilder and fitness instructor Nermin Sulejmanović, who is suspected of killing his wife during an Instagram live broadcast, addressed his followers live while police searched for him. He admitted that he killed two other people, a father and a son, during his escape because they stood in his way.
According to the local media, it is supposed to be a fitness instructor who is connected to one of the criminal groups for drug smuggling, namely he is a member of a drug gang Emir Kodžag. Mayor of Gradačac Edis Dervišagić told the Sarajevo newspaper Dnevni avaz that it was a great tragedy. He explained that the killer is on the run and that the police are still looking for him. “There is currently a kind of emergency in Gradačac and we are waiting for specific information from the police. There are special units on the ground,” he added.
The police urged citizens to take refuge at home, not to go out into the streets, as the suspect is still on the run, reports mondo.rs.
The perpetrator later committed suicide.
