Siol.net does not provide campaign organizers with free space for the presentation of candidates and their programs.
The editorial board will decide on reporting and all publications during the election campaign in the same way as it does during the time when there are no elections.
Even during the election campaign, Siol.net must publish corrections or answers to published information. The editors will try to disable attempts to use corrections or answers by individuals or parties for an indirect or direct election campaign.
When publishing public opinion polls and polls about candidates, siol.net will, in accordance with Article 5 of the Law on Election and Referendum Campaigns, provide information about “the company or name and surname and headquarters or address of the client, payer and contractor, time, in in which a public opinion survey or survey was carried out, the method of their implementation, the sample and responsiveness of the respondents, the questionnaire or questions and measurement errors”.
Siol.net invites candidates, lists and parties to advertise, which must be in accordance with the Law on Election and Referendum Campaigns and other legal regulations.
