Škofjelok police officers were informed today at around 6:50 a.m. about a traffic accident in the area of ​​Škofje Loka, in which a car and a bus were involved.

“According to the information we have, the 39-year-old driver forced the right of way to the bus driver and crashed into him with his car. The driver of the car was seriously injured and taken to a medical facility by ambulance. No one was injured on the bus. Firefighters were also at the scene of the accident. The road was closed to traffic during the tour, and a detour was arranged. As of 8:45 a.m., the road was reopened to all traffic,” he informed the public Roland Brajic from the aforementioned police department.

The Gorenj operational and communication center received 83 calls to the number 113 in the last 24 hours. 41 of them were for intervention in intervention events:

– five from the field of criminality, of which one for burglary and two for theft;
– 17 in the field of traffic safety, of which one was due to a traffic accident with bodily injuries and five due to a traffic accident with material damage;
– seven from the area of ​​public order and peace, of which two for violation in a public place and two for violation in a private space;
– three due to events, of which one due to run over game.

The police are conducting criminal proceedings against the driver of the car.
