With the flood of activities, toys and technology, we often forget that our children actually have almost everything they need for healthy development, practically on their doorstep – in the forest. The forest is the best playground and gym for developing basic movement skills (climbing, running, walking, crawling, jumping…), an outdoor classroom that, in addition to everything, calms the senses and the nervous system, and is the strongest vitamin for the immune system.
Meta Vodnjov, Nina Soklič and Manca Sever Žumer have gathered for Children’s Week, which this year is on the theme of curiosity, under the organization KUD Kamot, to share the joy of the forest with other families.
We will meet for fun activities at three places in the Enchanted Forest, mainly with the aim of offering children and parents authentic experiences and new acquaintances inside the forest. Meta (Little adventurers) as an experienced leader of groups along fairy-tale paths, will bring forest joy to children through activities in the Dwarf’s Forest, with Nina (PleteNina), who is engaged in sewing and crocheting products for all ages, children will be able to make handicrafts in the Elf Forest met through sewing fairy cloths, at Manca (Intuiterra), who brings creativity, connection and touch to her work, families in the bird forest will first connect through massage, and then express themselves through creation with natural pigments.
The FOREST JOY event will take place September 30 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Enchanted Forest on Hom and will take place in all weathers.
Please come dressed and wearing appropriate shoes.
The event is organized and supported by KUD Kamot
municipality of Bled.
