In September, the Riben school came back to life in the hustle and bustle of children. Pupils have returned to school, and we are especially happy for the first-graders who crossed the school threshold for the first time.
On the first day of school, together with their parents, their teacher Anja Gluhar was waiting for them in front of the school, and their little sister Marička was waiting for them in the classroom, who will acquire knowledge together with them and look forward to play breaks. We were addressed by our new principal Tanja Műller and deputy mayor Iztok Pesrl, who gave the students courage for a new start. The second-graders, together with their teacher Alenko Čeh, prepared a dramatic game about a ladybug who wants to learn to count her dots. To ensure that their stomachs were not empty, the first-graders also had refreshments in the dining hall to finish and started to get to know each other and make new friends.
At the start of the school year, we all got excited about a new portable sound amplifier. We would like to thank KS for the acquisition, which will help us at various events and outdoor events.
Also, at the beginning of the new school year, we were surprised by the newly asphalted school yard, the driveway to the school and the road in front of the school. Waterproofing was carried out on the north and west sides of the school building.
Now we are embarking on new adventures that will offer us new knowledge and unforgettable memories of school days.
