RTV Slovenia, the Rotary Club of Ljubljana and the Rotary District 1912 will collect funds for Slovenian primary school students who do not have the same opportunities for personal growth and education as their peers at the 31st St. Nicholas concert.
Various genres of music will be performed at the concert Nina Strnad, Tilen Artač, Nuša Derenda, Ditka & band, Bossa de Novo, King Foo, Urban Lutman, Jure Počkaj, Evelin and Valerij Greblo, Nikola Pajanović, Tjaša Fajdiga, Domen Križaj, Mixed choir Danica, Family String Quartet Midwife, Borut Bučar, Meta Fajdiga, Neli and Karmen Zidar Kos and the cast of RTV Slovenia – Symphony Orchestra, Big Band and Youth and Children’s choir. They will be conductors Mojca Lavrenčič, Rok Golob and Tadej Tomšič. The concert will be broadcast on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 8 p.m. on TV SLO 1. The show will be hosted by Furlan Street and Nik Škrlec.
Broadcast editor Daniel Celarec said at the same time: “I am happy that with the help of top Slovenian musicians we will join forces again, with a common goal – to collect as many funds as possible for children from socially disadvantaged families. We promise the audience a beautiful and interesting musical evening, which will be characterized by listenable music performed by more than 200 musicians .”
