Russell Brand to furious Rod Stewart: I didn’t even touch your daughter

After allegations of sexual abuse surfaced against comedian Russell Brand, the words of his ex-singer wife have come to the fore Katy Perry, who hinted years ago that she knows the ugly truth about her ex-partner but can’t reveal it. Some also recalled the incident the comedian had with Rod Stewart because of unsavory comments regarding the singer’s daughter.

During the awards in 2006, the British star was publicly confronted by singer Rod Stewart after Russell bragged to the audience that he had slept with his daughter Kimberly. Rod thought the joke was not only tasteless and inappropriate, but also unacceptable, so later at the event he loudly addressed the comedian: “You slept with my daughter Russel huh?”

Russell then lost his courage and replied that he and Kimberly only met once. “I didn’t even touch your baby girl,” hastened to assure, and the enraged father: “F*****, you didn’t! You have no right to come here and brag about such matters. I say this as a father.” Following that verbal spat, the two men were spotted together at an after-party, with Russell reportedly trying to apologize to Rod for his inappropriate behaviour. The next day, the legendary singer said in an interview that he had not forgiven him and that Brand should be careful in the future. “If he’s a womanizer, at least he shouldn’t brag about it,” Rod concluded then.
